NAIFA honors the memory of past Society of FSP President Clark McCleary, CLU, ChFC, AEP, who passed away on October 20 in Houston. He led the Society during the 1999-2000 association year and had been a dedicated NAIFA member since 1966. From 2000-2003, he served on the Life Happens Board of Directors. He founded McCleary & Associates in Houston in 1972 and specialized in the use of life insurance for business continuity and compensation planning for small businesses and estate planning for business owners.

Nominate a Standout NAIFA Member by June 30

Would you like to be considered by NAIFA's Governance Committee to serve as NAIFA's 2026 National Secretary or a national Trustee? If so, you need to submit an interest form by this Saturday, May 31. Simply complete the form and email it to candidate@naifa.org along with a photograph and a written statement (500 words, maximum) outlining your qualifications and your vision for NAIFA.

March might be known for brackets and buzzer-beaters, but this year, we’re bringing that same energy to a game that matters even more—supporting the future of our industry. On Saturday, March 1st, IFAPAC Madness begins. As one NAIFA, we’ll rally together, score big wins, and champion the causes that keep our profession strong.

Life Happens has unveiled a new set of assets for Insure Your Love Month (February 2025) specially curated as a benefit for NAIFA members. Please spread the word in your chapter that these resources are available so members can begin planning to use them in February.

During the month of November, members with annual renewals in January 2025 were encouraged to renew early. All members with annual memberships expiring in January 2025 who renewed by November 30th were entered into a drawing for a $100 Visa Gift Card. Larry Stephens was selected as the winner! Larry is a State Farm agent and has been a loyal NAIFA member in Seymour, TN since 1979.  More than 300 members participated by renewing their membership in advance of 2025!
